After defeating both in their respective story arcs, we can revive them thanks to the Dragon Balls and making a wish to Shenron.

Just a few hours ago, Bandai Namco discovered some new images of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot with the Dragon Balls as protagonists, already knowing some of its functions. Among them will be to revive Frieza and Cell after defeating them in their story arcs, as we have learned thanks to the Japanese editor.

As we progress through the game and defeat both Frieza and Cell, we can bring them back to life thanks to the Dragon Balls, which will have to be gathered in order to make a wish to Shenron. One of those wishes may be precisely that, bring both villains back, but as we know, it is only possible to ask for one on each occasion, which will have to be met several times during the game.

After bringing them back to life, we can enjoy some secondary missions related to them, as well as a new scenario, and by completing them, we will obtain Soul Emblems, whose operation we could see previously. Basically, we will achieve these Emblems by fulfilling both primary and secondary missions, each representing a different character from the world of Dragon Ball, and granting us enhancers as we place them on the Emblem board.

This is part of the RPG mechanics of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, although since Bandai Namco they have already anticipated on several occasions that the secondary missions will not be excessively long or deep, but rather something more similar to shorter activities.

Good times for Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot will arrive on January 17 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, with its arrival at Nintendo Switch not at all confirmed, rather the opposite, at least for now. However, anime fans are in luck thanks to the good health that Dragon Ball currently enjoys in video games, with the very successful Dragon Ball FighterZ in a great way, to which to add other minor but very worthy projects such as Dragon Ball Heroes : World Mission, the card game, or Dragon Ball Legends and Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, the latter for mobiles.
