The US company takes stock and prepares for the new fiscal year with a list of new titles on the way.
About the end of the 2019-2020 fiscal year, companies value their financial results and publish their respective reports. At its shareholders meeting, Electronic Arts has confirmed that it will launch 14 games in the next fiscal year, which begins in April 2020 and ends on March 31, 2021. The company will therefore double the number of titles with respect to the course previous, since it put on sale 7 video games of the 8 that were planned.
The eighth title in the chamber is NBA Live, which was delayed indefinitely to polish the gaming experience. However, the Electronic Arts financial officer, Blake Jorgensen, announced during the third quarter shareholders meeting that EA plans to publish 14 video games, of which everything seems to indicate that 10 will be developed internally.

What games are on the way?
At least two of those productions will be dedicated to sports, with FIFA 21 and Madden 21 leading the way. It is not 100% confirmed, but during the second quarter meeting, as GamesIndustry.biz indicates, the editor suggested that NHL would regain its annual gaming position. In addition, Jorgensen said they would provide new NBA Live data throughout this year, although it is not clear if that means a 2020 release date will be announced.
The financial officer of the company also referred to four other video games that EA prepares for the new course. However, he did not specify exactly what they would be, since some of them have not been announced yet. The Americans claimed that there would be "exciting remastering" that fans will like, "including Command and Conquer," whose departure is scheduled for this year. Do not forget either Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, a virtual reality title developed by Respawn Entertainment. It is known that Motive, DICE, BioWare and Criterion work on new projects, but again, nobody has spoken of a concrete launch window.
EA develops two video games for mobile devices and will additionally publish two other video games created by smaller teams. The upcoming Star Wars, Dragon Age and Battlefield franchise games are not expected until fiscal year 2022.
EA, surprised by the sales of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
The new production of Respawn Entertainment has operated above the expectations of Electronic Arts. This has been recognized by the company, which has redrawn its forecasts and expects the new videogame of the galaxy franchise to sell 10 million units before April 2020. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the bet of the American firm for video games for a player, a strategy that has varied with respect to the past, since before the cancellation of the Star Wars of Amy Hennig, EA tried to redesign the product in another direction, towards the game model as a service.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC since last November 15. The story revolves around the purge carried out by Emperor Palpatine, who wishes to end all the Jedi and orders his murder to those who until then had been allies of the Republic, the clone troopers. Even so, not all knights were killed, and there Cal Kestis is there to prove it. After years in the shadows, he returns with a very specific goal: to restore the Order and fight against the evil Galactic Empire.
