Red Bull’s latest viral clip shows Formula 1 star Max Verstappen orchestrating a hidden-camera stunt at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Prank layout at the hotel
In the footage, Verstappen, using a discreet earpiece, directs comedian Mr Red to mislead hotel guests with absurd props—a full‑size guitar presented as a room key, hundreds of complimentary shower caps, and a cardboard cut‑out of himself offered to women, prompting the question of his cuteness.
Backstage, Hendrick – the team’s technician – remains unseen while the driver’s measurements are broadcasted to the lobby staff. Verstappen’s instructions flow swiftly, alternately supplying the know‑how for a landlord’s routine with a comedic twist.
When the front desk opens, teammate Isack Hadjar steps in; he holds a guest’s hand to demonstrate a shower cap, strums a guitar while screaming, claps randomly, and starts a brief workout warm‑up, all while attempting to keep a neutral expression.
Reddit reaction and fan comments
Commentators on Reddit highlighted the surreal calmness of Hadjar’s performance, noting that “how Hadjar didn’t laugh is crazy.” Fans joked that “Verstappen asking if the cardboard cut‑out is cute” is oddly brilliant, and added that Hadjar’s dour delivery could translate into a Saturday Night Live sketch. Another voice praised the subtle humor, stating that “this was hilarious.”
