Fallout 76: users pollute pacifist players with nuclear mines

Although the characters that activate the Pacifist mode are not damaged, no one is safe from nuclear pollution in the environment.

Evil takes over the world of Fallout 76, the online role-playing game of Bethesda Softworks. A few weeks ago revenge was served on a silver platter due to Fallout First, the game's subscription service. Some users took it against subscribers, whom they became a target. Later, a club of self-styled aristocrats formed a group to defend themselves from the mob. Now, the problem has little to do with social classes, but certain players are using nuclear mines to harm pacifists.

And even if you activate the Pacifist mode, which prevents the rest from attacking you, nobody can get rid of the nuclear clouds caused by the proximity mines. Given that perspective, some players have used that ruse to harm all kinds of characters, who succumb to radioactive contamination.

Community Warnings

As Kotaku collects, a user denounced this practice in July, via Reddit. "I have just left the server with a Level 800 using a combination of Plague Walker and nuclear proximity mines, with the aim of killing all the players that are using the vending machines of the Whitesprings train station." According to the user, this type of behavior is "very toxic" and needs to be reversed before it gets out of hand. “If you are in the vending machine and you begin to take damage and hear that the mines detonate, then you are the target. Protect yourself! ”

Other later threads suggest that the conflict has not stopped. Some Fallout 76 players have asked Bethesda to ban all those who take advantage of the situation, hoping that the company will detect it as an exploit and punish offenders properly.

Fallout 76 is available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. In early 2020, one of the most anticipated content, Wastelanders, will arrive, adding narrative and uncontrollable characters.
