The SF‑26, piloted by Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, lost the white stripe on the engine cover and adopted a fully crimson finish. The drivers’ number decals switched to a retro font, and HP’s logo on the engine sticker sits beside a prominent signature from Schumacher.
Details of the SF‑26 design
On the car’s nose, the team added an emblem of Schumachers white stars—seven dots representing his seven world‑championship titles. This motif echoes the white stars normally seen on the German’s helmet.
Schumacher’s record with Ferrari
Between 1996 and 2006, Schumacher completed 179 races for the Scuderia, clinching five consecutive championships from 2000 to 2004. During that era he amassed 72 victories and 58 pole positions under the leadership of Jean Todt and Ross Brawn.
