Square Enix has announced the launch of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation for PlayStation 5 on April 8, 2027, following a new trailer revealed at the September 2026 State of Play event.
Release and Physical Options
The game will reach consoles on PlayStation 5 with physical editions—Deluxe and Collector’s. Digital buyers can pre‑order through the PS Store starting today, September 3, 2026.
Pre‑Order Edition Breakdown
Three digital tiers are available: Standard, Premium, and Premium Plus. All editions grant the base game and a Mecha‑Choc‑bo and Moogle Summon Materia at launch.
The Premium tier adds a Story Expansion Pass, including Pack 1 (Sephiroth) and Pack 2 (Vincent & the Turks), as well as a Reclaimant Choker, a Survival Set, and consumables. Premium Plus further delivers a Digital Artbook, a Digital Mini Soundtrack, a Polydroid Alexander Summon Materia, a Nymphwing Bracelet Armor, and a Risk Taker’s Choker.
Players selecting Premium or Premium Plus receive a 24‑hour early access window, allowing gameplay on April 7, 2027.
