Antonelli’s Record‑Breaking Rise
In the middle of the season, the 19‑year‑old Italian seized the championship lead by winning back‑to‑back races in China and Japan. Those victories were his first two of the year, and they placed him at the front of the points table.

Fittipaldi argues that a young driver raising the bar brings the hard‑earned challenge needed in the sport. “He’s only 19, yet he can win the championship. He’s pulling a lot of pressure off George,” he noted, asserting that this dynamic will burn bright for spectators.
