Ghost Recon Breakpoint delays its biggest update so far

Ubisoft's production was scheduled to launch the immersive mode in February, but will not be published until spring.

More problems for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint, a title that went on sale last year and has failed to meet the company's expectations. Ubisoft realized that the game needed an in-depth review and sent a survey to users in order to gather information about the changes they would like to see in the future. Based on that feedback, they decided to launch the immersive mode, which however will suffer a delay, as Ubisoft itself has announced on the official videogame page.

“At the beginning of the year, we published that the new immersive mode and the Engineer class would come out at the end of February. After our development study meditated a lot, we decided to change the departure date. ” The launch has been set for spring, although a more specific date has not been specified. What has been reported is that on March 5 they will provide more details about these developments.

“Our goal with immersive mode is to offer an impact update based on feedback. The immersive mode is built around the results of the Community Survey, your observations gathered by our CM ”, among other sources. "We are in the process of creating an experience that will change the way you can play Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint," they promise.

Complaint response

According to the French, the new class will arrive next to the new mode, just like Episode 2. The company recognizes that they understand that users have requested a “more transparent communication”, so they have set the goal of materializing that desire into something tangible . “There are many moving parts in development,” they stress, so they have not been able to “communicate” as much as they would have liked. Ubisoft has apologized about it and promises new data, as already mentioned, by the beginning of March.

That Ghost Recon Breakpoint and The Division 2 did not meet expectations caused internal changes in Ubisoft, as the company has launched a reorganization plan that will modify the editorial team of Paris, a group of developers and creative directors that does not make games, but supervises and watches over all the company's projects.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is available on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Google Stadia.
