Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Terminator event is delayed

The Ubisoft shooter, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, is restoring its update and the crossover event with Terminator until 2020, on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

An administrator of the Ubisoft community announced on the official Breakpoint forums that the company has decided to delay the next Ghost Recon: Breakpoint update "to ensure its quality." Breakpoint version 1.10 was scheduled to leave on December 18 and will now arrive in the second half of January (specific date still unspecified). Along with this update, the crossover event with Terminator is also delayed until next year.

The title 1.10 update will focus on solving multiple problems with audio, enemy AI, base jump and night vision goggles. In addition, the developers are also "working to ensure that enemies do not scream when they are shot in the head." This was the initial summary that Ubisoft presented when it first announced the update, so during this time the patch could receive even more corrections and adjustments until its arrival in January.

As for the live Terminator event, it was scheduled to start sometime between the end of December and mid-January. Among the additions that it brings we can find a new mechanical enemy on the island of Auroa: the classic T-800 Terminator that traveled in time to kill Sarah Connor.

In addition to facing this enemy we can get exclusive weapons, accessories, vehicles and customization items to complete live event missions. The main story missions will remain accessible to players even after the end of the event, but if we do not play on the appropriate date we will miss some of the specific rewards of the event. Breakpoint still has a long way to go, but we can see how Ubisoft prioritizes quality and gives developers time to rest in order to avoid crunch.
