Kyle Busch’s unexpected passing provoked a cascade of tributes across Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the 0.375‑mile Bullring.
Memorial Rock and Family Presence
At the Bullring a memorial rock, carved with Busch’s signature bow, was unveiled. His wife Samantha, sons Brexton and Lennix, brother Kurt, and parents Tom and Gaye attended, joined by actor Michael Rooker, whose “Rowdy” role inspired Busch’s nickname.
Kyle Busch Classic at the Bullring
The “Kyle Busch Classic” featured ARCA Menard’s West races and a Legends Car event. Brexton waved the green flag for the ARCA race and the track walls received a “Forever Rowdy” mural. He also ran the Legends Car that evening.
Road Naming and Pace Car
Intersections leading into the Bullring were renamed “Rowdy Road” and “Busch Brothers Drive.” Both Cup champions began winning careers there. Kurt Busch will drive the pace car at Sunday’s Cup race, sporting a special sticker honoring his brother.
On‑Track Tributes
In recognition of the late driver, a black No. 8 stripe appears stenciled across the infield grass. Above the track, “Forever Rowdy” boards loom large, and the concourse wall displays messages from fans. The M&M’s Kyle Busch car and Busch’s 2019 championship trophy await spectators. A silent Lap 8 will be observed, echoing its use at the O’Reilly race.
External Tributes – Kyle Larson Livery
Hendrick Motorsports has partnered with Kyle Larson to chart a special livery in the style of the No. 5 Kellogg’s car Busch drove early in his Cup career. The paintwork reads “Tiny Kyle,” a reference to his long‑time rival.
As the track continues to honor a legend, the Flavoured Fast‑Lane heritage carries on in the rhythm of every lap.
