Marcus Ericsson has agreed to stay with Andretti Global for the 2027 IndyCar season, securing a new contract that will keep him behind the wheel of the No. 28 car.

Now in his fourth season with the Scuderia, Ericsson has not yet recorded a win for Andretti but has achieved two runner‑up finishes and a pole at Arlington. The Swede’s IndyCar résumé also lists four victories, including the 2022 Indianapolis 500, and a top‑ten finish in half of the first 12 races of the current year.

“I’m really excited about the contract extension,” Ericsson said in a team release, adding that the season “has been a good year for us” and that the crew has “put in a lot of hard work.” He thanked “Jill, Dan, Cassidy, and everyone else on the team” for placing trust in him.
