Once Mark Mark was acted as part of the cast to the planned filming of Uncharted, then still in the role of Nathan Drake. Now, a few years later and a bit older, Wahlberg is again talking, this time as Sully and Mentor of Nathan.

In any case, this is currently reported by the magazine Variety, according to which final details are negotiated between the Nathan Drake actor Tom Holland and Wahlberg. It is also reiterated that the film should not be a retelling of the games, but will tell an original story. Thereupon Wahlberg wanted to be present in some form.

After a lot of back and forth, the uncharted film is now under director Travis Knight (Bumblebee), as well as producers Avi Arad, Alex Gartner and Charles Roven. The new PlayStation Productions division under Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan are also involved in the first production between Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions.

Shooting is apparently early 2020, including in Berlin, if recent reports apply.
