NetEase has responded to long‑standing player requests by turning Black Widow into an aggressive flanking Duelist. The overhaul delivers a new ultimate, upgraded primary attacks, and multiple new abilities that shift her role from a defensive support to a high‑damage hinge.
Team‑Up Overhaul and New Defensive Feature
Every hero will now carry two selectable team‑ups in the spawn room, without the need to have the matching partner present. The system rewards player choice, as the mechanic automatically triggers an enhanced effect when the designated partner is on cooldown. A green‑lined Regenerative Shield added to high‑mobility characters restores 20 % of max health per second after five seconds of damage‑free survival, favoring dive Vanguards and Duelists.
Buffs, Nerfs, and Tactical Adjustments
Balance nudges accompany the new system. The following characters receive buffs to counter new team‑up mechanics: Deadpool, Devil Dinosaur, Doctor Strange, Groot, The Thing, Thor, Black Cat, Elsa Bloodstone, Hawkeye, Hela, Phoenix, Psylocke, Scarlet Witch, Storm, Adam Warlock, Cloak & Dagger, Gambit, Invisible Woman, Luna Snow, Mantis, and Ultron.
The following eighteen heroes are subject to nerfs: Angela, Captain America, Hulk, Peni Parker, Rogue, Venom, Black Panther, Cyclops, Daredevil, Deadpool (Duelist and Strategist), Human Torch, Iron Man, Magik, Moon Knight, Star‑Lord, Punisher, Rocket Raccoon, and White Fox.
Map and Cosmetic Updates
On July 23, 2026, the long‑rumoured Thebes graphically transports players to a convoy‑style stage set in ancient Egypt. The accompanying season pass, titled “The Faith‑Harvesting Engine,” features skins in an Egyptian motif for heroes such as Namor, Mister Fantastic, Ultron, Mantis, Moon Knight, Elsa Bloodstone, Iron Man, Venom, and Cloak & Dagger.
