“A quick update on me!
Today (January 31) is my last day with Ubisoft. Many thanks to the talented and warm people of Ubisoft Quebec for my time there.
Now I have to take stock and think about the following. ”
Before formally joining the studio after Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and the future Gods & Monsters, he worked with them for nine months as a creative consultant for a title not yet announced. Shortly thereafter he would occupy the position of creative director in the same project, of which we know absolutely nothing.
Yves Guillemot in Ubisoft Quebec.
In September of last year, he could be seen working with Jeff Skalski (senior producer) and Fred St-Laurent (director of the game) in one of the articles published on the website of the studio itself. The entry on its incorporation has been removed from it.
14 years in the industry have allowed him to go through several of the titles that marked an entire generation, such as Dragon Age, Mass Effect or Jade Empire, to a lesser extent. In October 2017 he said goodbye to BioWare with some emotional paragraphs: “In my time at BioWare I have been fortunate to work with some of the most talented workers in this industry. It has been an honor to be part of the Dragon Age team, and I have total confidence that the world we have created together is now in good hands; I'm excited for what comes in the future, ”he commented. The future is in the air.
