Fortnite’s Chapter 7 mini season is scheduled to drop with the v43.00 update, a claim confirmed by data miner NotJulesDev on X.
Code name and expected content
The short cycle is codenamed “NaliSnap.” No official details have surfaced yet, but speculations point to the addition of Spider‑Man and Batman avatars in new sprite packs.
Story arc implications
With the mini season arriving before Chapter 8, the narrative might bypass a return to Chapter 3 and the Herald’s influence, possibly allowing Geno to reappear on the island. Attendees could also witness Jonesy’s revenge plot, as the storyline has hinted at that trajectory.
Collaborations, previews, and live focus
Mini seasons historically enable wildcard partnerships, such as the previous Simpsons crossover. Epic Games typically concludes a release with a live event, a practice that has created memorable finales in recent years. Fans may also anticipate an appearance by Taylor Swift, mentioned in circulating rumors.
With one and a half full seasons still ahead, further revelations are expected later in the year. Epic’s approach to surprise has diminished, but the impending update signals an upcoming shift in the meta.
