Nick Sanchez will open his 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season at Indianapolis Raceway Park, piloting the No. 77 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet.
Recent Team Changes
Sanchez departed Big Machine Racing after the off‑season and signed with AM Racing to start the year. The team folded early, leaving him to secure limited starts with Peterson Racing while building a part‑time campaign in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series.
Past Truck Performance
The driver has accumulated 47 previous Truck Series starts, claiming victories at Daytona and Charlotte in 2024. His best finish at IRP came in 2023, where he was 11th on the grid.
NASCAR O’Reilly Success
Between Truck outings, Sanchez captured a win at Atlanta in the O’Reilly Series last year, underscoring his ability to triumph on intermediate tracks.
No. 77 Driver Rotation
Spire Motorsports has rotated a variety of talents in the No. 77 truck this season. Carson Hocevar, Parker Kligerman, Justin Marks, Jesse Love, and Connor Zilisch have all taken the wheel, with Hocevar securing the only win for the car so far, a victory at Texas Motor Speedway.
