The British studio does not change its plans to launch its multiplayer title this Tuesday, despite all its members working from home.
The first Ninja Theory work under the protection of Microsoft will be the surprising Bleeding Edge, which we have already been able to play on occasion, and which must be remembered, will be available from the day of its launch on the fantastic Xbox Game Pass subscription service. This will be next Tuesday, the 24th, and although the world coronavirus crisis is upsetting multiple plans, this is not the case with the British study, which states that its new competitive multiplayer will arrive on time.
Ninja Theory is one of many studios that have leaned towards work in this time that we are going to live and that we will surely remember for a long time, but that has not stopped them from reaching the date with their game. "Although the Ninja Theory team is fully working from home, our commitment to bring Bleeding Edge to you, our fans, on the 24th, remains in force," they said on Twitter.

As we know, many companies have implemented telework as a way to continue carrying out their projects, and others such as Rockstar, Square Enix or Bungie have followed the same path. Still, and unlike Ninja Theory, some of them have seen how this has affected either the release dates or the supply of units in physical format. Square Enix itself has already anticipated that it will be difficult to get hold of a physical copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake in some regions due to shortages, although it should not surprise us to see a wave of massive delays in the coming weeks either. In this way, some of the most important titles of this first half of 2020 such as The Last of Us 2, Resident Evil 3 Remake or Ghost of Tsushima could be affected.

As we said before, Bleeding Edge is the first release of Ninja Theory since it was acquired by Microsoft back in June 2018, being a title that is noticeably distant from what we are used to by the creators of Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, DMC or Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, the sequel of which they are also currently developing. We can enjoy it from its launch day on Xbox Game Pass, being one of the games that are included in the catalog of this service along with other very interesting ones such as Ace Combat 7 or The Surge 2.
