The 21‑year‑old Haas F1 driver admits that cycling now forms a core part of his 2026 campaign training.
He shares the uphill roads with fellow riders, from Williams’ Carlos Sainz to Tour de France legend Tadej Pogačar, and believes the local terrain offers unrivaled fitness benefits.
Bike Shop Above Monaco
The shop sits in a popular cycling area in the hills of Monaco, doubling as a café that serves cyclists on long rides.
“We offer our own banana bread, cakes and quality coffee – although I’m not a coffee fan – but cyclists are picky, so we’ve got it right.”
The venture is described as a “passion project,” allowing the group to influence day‑to‑day operations and build a friendly hub for riders.
F1 Season Context
After snagging 17 points in Australia and China and an extra point in Canada, Bearman has faced retirements in Japan, Monaco and Spain.
He currently sits 13th in the drivers’ standings with 18 points after the latest four races saw finishes outside the top ten.
