Starting from fourth, Acosta dropped to fifth at the grid’s opening. On the first lap he passed Marquez then Ogura, narrowing the gap to Marco Bezzecchi. By the second turn, the 22‑year‑old had overtaken Bezzecchi and was chasing the Aprilia pair of Martin and the untried Bezzecchi.

Martin faced intra‑Team pressure from Bezzecchi, who stayed within reach until the closing stages, but both Aprilias could not catch the KTM rider. Alejandro Ai Ogura finished fourth, while reigning champion Marquez recovered to finish fifth.

The result marked Acosta’s first premier‑class win in 56 attempts and the first victory for KTM at Red Bull Ring since the 2022 Thai Grand Prix. Jorge Martin extended his championship lead, yet the points gap tightened against Marc Marquez, who managed only a podium‑finish finisher.
Brad Binder’s sixth place gave KTM extra season points, while Fermin Aldeguer placed seventh from a 12th‑grid start.
