One is still eagerly awaiting news about the speculated PS5 Reveal Event, for which a possible new date has now surfaced.
So far, the event was predicted on February 5th or 12th, but none of this information has been confirmed to date. Now it is believed that it could be February 29, 2020 if the event actually takes place in the new Sony Hall in New York.
Sony itself provides the indication that they state in the current event plan that the location will remain closed for a private event on this day. This should take place at 7 p.m. local time. Tickets for this can also not be purchased regularly, but only via a special contact request.
It makes sense that Sony will again use its own rooms for the PS5 Reveal Event, with Sony Square also being an option in New York. However, this is more for the commercial audience, while the Sony Hall is a pure event location.
The Japanese currently only know whether and when Sony will officially unveil the PS5. Until then, it is necessary to be patient.
