On their 25th anniversary, it seemed strange that they could not find an alternative, something they have finally done: it will be online.

Nut twist
When QuakeCon 2020 was canceled, Bethesda Softworks issued the following statement: “We have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s QuakeCon. The health and safety of our employees, volunteers, vendors, sponsors and players will always be our primary responsibility. ” The original event was to take place from August 6 to 9 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. At least, now it will be possible to continue online, hoping that next year it can be celebrated in less adverse circumstances.
The coronavirus has been claimed as victims at fairs as important as E3 2020, Gamescom or the Tokyo Game Show. Some of them, like these last two, have announced online variants. All this occurs in an important context informatively speaking, since the arrival of Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 promised an informative news that will now unfold differently.
