Rockstar proves once again that work on the next-gen platforms PS5 and Xbox Scarlett is running at full speed, as recent job advertisements show.
For example, they are currently looking for an Animated Systems Programmer to work on open-world character-based games for the next generation. It says:
"We are looking for an experienced, talented engineer to help us develop advanced animation systems for large Open World character based games. We're a global team of programmers and researchers working together to extend the boundaries of character animation to next-generation hardware. "
What game Rockstar is currently working on is still a secret. Of course, GTA VI is very popular, but Bully 2 is mentioned again and again, with GTA VI currently having the best chance.
