Buemi will not appear on the 2026‑27 grid, yet he will advise Envision and help develop the new Jaguar Gen4 car, test it when schedules allow, and assist with the Paysafe title activation on selected tracks.

Chief officer Alberto Longo welcomed the prospect of Buemi’s return, noting his talent and commitment, and acknowledging his family dedication.
Sim Driving and Race Attendance
Additionally, he will continue as a Red Bull simulator driver, finishing some Envision races that fit his calendar, and conduct simulator sessions for the team.
