The Starbreeze Studios game will receive this collaboration with the beloved Konami saga. We will be able to control Pyramid Head this June.
Dead by Daylight's official channels have unveiled a new DLC coming to the game next June: a collaboration with Silent Hill. The celebrated Konami saga, which has been quiet for years despite fans' wishes for a possible remake, will be seen in a separate chapter for the Starbreeze Studios game on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on just some weeks.
As confirmed, this crossover will bring with it Cheryl Mason (Heather) and Pyramid Head, an injection of nostalgia that lovers of the Japanese license will know how to identify. Both can be controlled in this content along with a new playable map based on Midwich Elementary School, from the first installment of Silent Hill. It should be said that the content will come free for Dead by Daylight users: it will not be a paid DLC.
It is not the first time that the slasher developed by Behavior Interactive has had a collaboration. Last August they did the same with a famous NETFLIX series, Stranger Things. Needless to say, this free expansion doesn't have to serve as a foretaste of an ad related to Silent Hill.
The multiplayer horror game gains media interest with a collaboration that once again fuels the desire for Silent Hill to be back; either with a completely new episode or with a remake of one of the original games. Cory Barlog, father of God of War, recently raised his interest in Twitter to be the one in charge of this rebirth, but they are just wishes.
The future of Dead by Daylight on mobile devices is a fact and it already has a release date. The title, which bets on the multiplayer mode with an asymmetric cut, can now be played on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. Very soon also on iOS and Android terminals.
