The renowned actor, who plays Dr. Eggman, has been positive about Paramount's decision to change the appearance of the hedgehog.
The change of design for Sonic the Hedgehog in Sonic The Film motivated the delay of the production of Paramount Pictures until this month of February; However, this waiting time has allowed the film to have a remarkable reception by the public and has become a real success at the box office. Jim Carrey, an actor who has been responsible for interpreting Dr. Eggman, has changed his mind and believes that the decision has ended up being very positive.

Because the American actor was opposed to this change: he did not understand the controversy generated and did not see that change was necessary. The reaction of the producer "ended up being a cooperative work where everyone turned to creation," says the 58-year-old actor. "I think everyone has ended up feeling good about it because Jeff Fowler didn't put his ego in the process," he continues, making it clear that Fowler had no qualms about assuming a change of mind and reversing his initial idea. "I think it has ended up being a much better movie." "He has ended up being fantastic," in his opinion, although he acknowledges that he was also against the change initially.
