No, Outlast 3 ', for' The Outlast Trials', is the new project from Red Barrels, which was hinted at only a few days ago. This time, expect a horror experience, settled in the Cold War, which must be mastered in KooP.
The Outlast Trials are still in an early phase of development, which is why they are not yet called a final platform. But this automatically means that the next generation comes into consideration.
For the game itself, Red Barrel writes:
"The world of Outlast is a true survival horror experience designed to show that the most terrifying monsters of all come from the human mind … and Red Barrels! While not a direct continuation of the other critically acclaimed Outlast titles in the series, The Outlast Trials will be located in the same exciting universe: more specifically, in the midst of the Cold War era. The Outlast Trials allow players to face the horror of trials or work with up to three other test subjects. "
The concept phase of The Outlast Trials is currently completed and is now in the process of creating the content. More details about the game will follow in the coming months.
