Fortnite’s newest Street Fighter tribute, Chun‑Li, has entered the game as a free‑to‑play skin during the October 9 tournament, bettering the hype of the film collaboration.
Tournament & Ranking Rules
The Street Fighter Cup opens on 9 October 2026 at 1 PM EDT for Reload mode (Battle Royale/Zero Build) and at noon for Mobile Reload, each lasting 2½ hours and 1 hour 15 minutes respectively. Players compete in Solo and Duos formats across all platforms.
To claim the Chun‑Li cosmetics, your ranking must fall within the thresholds below. Numbers vary by region and mode.
- Reload BR/ZB – Europe, Asia, North America, Middle East, South America, Australia require Top 50; OT – Top 30
- Reload Mobile – Europe, Asia, Middle East, South America, Australia require Top 50; OT – Top 30
Achieving a qualifying spot in either mode also grants the World Warrior Tournament Token (Back Bling) at no additional cost.
Free Cosmetic Rewards
Players who secure enough points in the Cup receive two extra items:
- Reload – 85 points awards the “Ready. Set. Fight.” emote.
- Reload Mobile – 0 points for the ready‑set‑fight overlay (costs 85 points if purchased).
These rewards are independent of regional performance.
Item Shop Presence & Prices
On 10 October 2026, the Chun‑Li bundle returns to the Item Shop, offering a full range of related cosmetics, including:
- Chun‑Li skin – 1,500 V‑Bucks (individual purchase).
- Chun‑Li’s Invitation Token – 500 V‑Bucks.
- Chun‑Li’s Nunchaku – 800 V‑Bucks.
- Car Smash Emote – 500 V‑Bucks.
- Street Fighter Movie Bundle (all items) – 3,000 V‑Bucks.
The bundle remains in rotation long enough for future plays but can also be skipped to save V‑Bucks for upcoming seasonal drops, such as the 2026 Fortnitemares lineup.
The Chun‑Li skin will rotate out later in the month, giving players a window to secure it either through the tournament or the Item Shop before it disappears.
