Fresh Content Classic Funnel
Segment 1 of the 3.5 arc introduces Yanyang: Xuangling, the game‑altering Yangyang character highlighted in the latest Huanglong trailer. Segment 2 launches Suisui, a rivally strong addition expected to rank high in the upcoming tier list. Both characters will expand the strategic options available to teams.
The update also unlocks a brand‑new map, featuring intricate level design that curves around the new characters’ abilities. Players will have to recalibrate their approaches to core mechanics as they explore the freshly added area.
Maintenance Window and Rewards
Prior to the update, developers will conduct a seven‑hour maintenance. The planned interval is 4:00 AM to 11:00 AM CST, during which no player can log in. To compensate for the downtime, all players who had open mailboxes before the maintenance will receive 300 Astrites and 2 Crystal Solvents. This interim offer is part of the standard update grace policy.

In‑Game Incentive to Stay Engaged
The 300 Astrites and dual Crystal Solvents are distributed automatically to all accounts that met the mailbox condition. Fans of the electronic quest can also search for Wuthering Waves codes in the community for additional complimentary Astrites—a strategy for those who might initially lack the resource to support the new characters’ demands.
With the new characters pushing competitive boundaries, the community’s focus will inevitably shift toward mastering their unique skillsets. The 3.5 update will therefore become a pivotal point for any aspiring champion eager to maintain a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving meta.
