Phil Spencer confirms that the technology will be integrated from September, so all subscribers will be able to enjoy their titles in streaming.
Project xCloud will be integrated into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This has been confirmed by Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, in a publication made on the official blog of the platform. Thus, the subscribers of the service will have the opportunity to play the catalog titles through streaming and their mobile phones, all from September. On Xbox they consider that this is a natural step, since the strategy is to offer an ecosystem that allows you to play independently of the platform.
Phil Spencer’s message also makes it clear that it is one more option among many other possibilities, since they will also bet on Windows PC and its new generation console, Xbox Series X. The head of the division has stressed that this generation will be unlike any of the above, while also committing to develop different policies with the player in focus. To begin with, everyone will be welcome, therefore they will open the doors to diverse content, as well as technologies that reduce hate speech and toxicity.
We are pleased to announce that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will include cloud play starting in September at no additional cost 🎮👀

The move from Xbox One to Xbox Series X
Microsoft’s strategy is contrary to that of Sony and its PlayStation 5, since they have decided on a sweet generational transition. Thus, the titles developed by Xbox Game Studios will be played “in optimal conditions” on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X, at least for the first year. The company will continue to push cross-play for communities to integrate, regardless of whether they play on one device or the other.
The Smart Delivery option is a technology developed by Xbox so that companies that want to can update their games to Xbox Series X at no additional cost to users. This is the case of titles such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla or Cyberpunk 2077, two of the great compatible productions.
