After his visit last spring, the Xbox leader sets sail for the country of the Rising Sun with the goal of closing deals for the next generation.
Phil Spencer has reported on Twitter that he has traveled to Japan to negotiate with development studios and publishers for the immediate future of Xbox. 2020 is the main focus in the negotiation, but they also have in mind to strengthen the future of the brand beyond this year to be this Christmas when the next generation, Xbox, whose first model is Xbox Series X arrives on the market.
"Glad to be back in Japan with the team to talk and listen to amazing studios and publishers about 2020 and beyond," he begins. "There is really powerful energy and excitement about the future of gaming."

Trips to Japan since spring 2019: Spencer wants to shield Asia
The first trip to Japan that we have on Spencer's part as Xbox leader to strengthen the next generation of consoles dates back to last April, 2019, when he said he had been visiting South Korea and Japan to close some agreements and that the Xbox seal recovered the Japanese public that was lost during this generation that now ends.
Those agreements, although unknown, have resulted in the future arrival of the Yakuza saga to Xbox Game Pass, all deliveries of Kingdom Hearts to Xbox One and a host of Final Fantasy titles on this platform of games on demand.
Just a few days ago, Spencer himself was once again the main speaker of Xbox direct communication with users by indicating in a message that they will be at E3 2020 this coming June. The message was no accident but served as a response to Sony after announcing his resignation to the angel fair for the second consecutive year. Days before, for more information, he changed his profile picture to the main chip of the Xbox Series X CPU.
Xbox Series X will launch worldwide at Christmas 2020 with at least Halo: Infinite. The console will be backward compatible with games and peripherals and will be supported by Xbox Game Pass as one of its main aces. During the first two years, exclusive games will be intergenerational.
