Like the recent Yakuza games, 'Yakuza: Like a Dragon' may also support English voice output. However, this is not officially yet.
With the increasing popularity of the series in western regions, it is understood as a fan service that one supports a game at least in English. An entry at PCB Productions (via ResetEra), which has already taken over the localization of other games from Japanese, indicated that this would also be the case with Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Yakuza: Like A Dragon read: "talent direction / mocap / vocap / dialog production".
The entry has since been removed, probably because the English localization has not yet been officially announced by SEGA. This should happen in the coming weeks if the entry at PCB Productions was correct.
About Yakuza: Like a Dragon
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is much more than just a new chapter in the Yakuza series. Similar to the new English title, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a complete reinterpretation of the franchise, a milestone that coincides with the 15th anniversary of the series. While most of the game takes place in the large-scale, carefully realized Ijincho setting in Yokohama, players will explore a whole new side of Japan that has never been seen before in this series. Not only that, but also the combat system has been fundamentally revised and combines Yakuza's proven brawls with a turn-based RPG combat system.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon will be released sometime in 2020.
