Xbox Series X event: Halo Infinite will get a “first look” at the campaign

In the official Microsoft announcement they make special mention of the campaign mode, so it is unknown if there will be any news about the multiplayer.

The Xbox Series X launch event is getting closer, and Microsoft continues to offer information on what’s to come. It is confirmed that Halo Infinite is one of the great first party games that will not miss the appointment, but now we know some more detail about what 343 Industries plans to show. As usual, the studio has shared many news about the saga starring the Master Chief. Regarding their new production, they have commented that they are “excited” to show the “first look” of the campaign of the new main installment of the saga.

The update exclusively mentions the single player mode, so it is unknown if additional information will be shared about multiplayer modes, another of Halo’s great pillars throughout all these years. The truth is that the new 343 Industries is one of the most important projects for the company. If everything goes as planned, it will be ready this year, and from what they have said so far, it does not give the impression that the coronavirus has delayed plans.

Two ways of seeing things

Xbox Series X, the new generation console from Microsoft, will share games with Xbox One in its first months of life. In this way, North Americans will carry out a smooth transition between generations (although the company’s strategy is more in line with eliminating generations as we know them). Not surprisingly, they have opted for a different strategy than that of Sony, which does bet on a complete generation change when PlayStation 5 is released.

In addition to Halo Infinite, 343 Industries is still working on adapting the Halo: The Master Chief Collection compilation to PC. To avoid mistakes and problems, he decided to market the games in stages. After Halo Reach, Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, it’s time for Halo 3, which will be ready on July 14.
