Sam Corry had the green flag first as he chased Ethan Tovo down Turn 1’s chicane. The two warriors collided, sending Tovo’s bumper to Corry’s hood and then both cars skidding into the dirt at Turn 5. By the time Kyle Steckly surged into contention, Mason Massey had begun to close the gap. Steckly, running in front, over‑steered the last corner and fell into the gravel; Corry and Tovo, now third and fourth, also lost the track.
