Brennan Poole Set to Exit Alpha Prime Racing Following 2026 Season

Brennan Poole to leave Alpha Prime Racing after 2026

Brennan Poole has confirmed he will not reprise his role in the No. 44 car for Alpha Prime Racing during the 2027 season.

Alpha Prime Racing released a statement noting, “Brennan Poole has informed APR that he will not return to the #44 for the 2027 season, ending a three‑year run at the organization. We’re grateful and proud of everything Brennan has accomplished with APR over the years, and we look forward to a strong ending to the season.”

Since the start of the 2024 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, Poole has completed more than 200 U.S. Cup and Truck starts, finished 12 times in the top five, 48 times in the top ten, and earned a single pole. His most recent season saw the driver finish fourth at both Rockingham and Martinsville.

Beyond the NOAPS calendar, Poole has run 43 Cup races, 39 Truck events, and captured six victories in the ARCA Menard’s Series earlier in his career.

ADT’s current 2027 campaign will run under a new Ford partnership, but Poole will not be part of those plans.

Alpha Prime also fields a rookie package in the No. 45 car with Lavar Scott.

In a social media post, Poole thanked the team and owner Tommy Joe Martins: “I want to thank Team Alpha Prime for three great years of relentless effort together, and to Tommy Joe Martins for this opportunity and for believing in me years ago. Looking forward to closing out the season strong together!”

The No. 44 will finish the season under a new driver, setting the stage for a decisive closing sprint.
