This has been ensured by the resolution of a lawsuit against the company, in which Electronic Arts has provided technical data and access to engineers to clarify what happened.
“Ensuring fair play is vital to all of us at EA, and we have tried to be as clear as possible in applying this commitment to both ourselves and the players. We have said publicly before that we do not use any scripts or Dynamic Difficulty Adjustments (DDA in English) or anything similar that can automatically adjust the difficulty of the gameplay in the Ultimate Team games of FIFA, Madden and NHL ”, explains the company in a statement.
Despite the fact that Electronic Arts owns a patent that uses DDA technology, they stress that “it was never used” in their sports sagas and that “it will never be used.” “We will never use DDA technology to give players an advantage or disadvantage in online multiplayer modes of any of our games and we absolutely do not have it in FIFA, Madden and NHL.”
