DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction Hits RTX Users
NVIDIA’s latest DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, unveiled at Gamescom 2026, is now downloadable via the NVIDIA app for every GeForce RTX GPU, offering crisper ray‑traced visuals and more accurate lighting.
Unlike its predecessor, the upgrade harnesses a Second‑Generation Transformer AI to clean noisy, low‑sample ray‑traced data, producing sharper resolution and faithful path‑tracing.
To activate the feature, launch the NVIDIA app, navigate to Settings → About, select Early Access, open the Graphics section, pick a supported title, scroll to Driver Settings, choose DLSS Override – Model Presets, set to Custom, open the Ray Reconstruction drop‑down and pick Recommended or Preset F, then click Apply.
Alternatively, top‑level Global Settings applies the update across all eligible games, eliminating per‑game configuration.
