Ferrari has unveiled custom race outfits for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc ahead of the 2026 Italian Grand Prix, a homage to seven‑time champion Michael Schumacher.
Ferrari Monza Tribute to Schumacher
The bespoke suits keep Ferrari’s classic red and introduce stark white stripes sliding down the front, arms and across the shoulders. Seven five‑point stars crown the upper back, echoing the tally of Schumacher’s world titles, while a subtle logo graces the hip area.
The reworked design is set for the Monza weekend, scheduled for 4‑6 September, during which the Maranello outfit will honour the legacy that still shapes the team.
Drivers’ Palpable Anticipation
On Saturday at Zandvoort, Hamilton and Leclerc finished fourth and fifth after a tense set of radio exchanges. Their comments to local media reflected confidence yet caution.
“Even though Monza is not traditionally our strongest track, the special significance of the event ‘makes us look forward to it,’” said Leclerc. Hamilton added, “We are in a very different place now compared to last year and need to raise the temperature if we hope to surpass the leaders.”
