Comic Drops Early Teaser for Season 4
After the Unstable Story Moment event, Epic Games released a surprise “Fortnite Sonic” comic, marking the first glimpse of the upcoming collaboration. Published jointly by SEGA and Epic, the eight‑page story is illustrated by Stanley, ARQ, Kim, and McGrath.
Plot: Zero Points, Chaos Emeralds, and New Reality
The panels follow Eggman partnering with Geno to build a machine that reshapes reality while the Zero Point Rift destabilizes. Their scheme requires the power of a Chaos Emerald, which appears on the comic cover in the hands of a robotic Sonic, Shadow, and Knuckles. While the villains pursue their plan, Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles and Tails devise a counter‑attack by deploying robotic clones into Fortnite’s world to halt the alliance.
Skins, Clones, and Retro Easter Eggs
The comic announces the arrival of three Sonic crossover skins—plus a hint at a Metal Sonic clone and other darker variants—to be featured in Season 4. On the last page, the three characters leap into a rift portal on the Fortnite map, and a subtle Pac‑Man ghost appears in the corner, confirming the joint effort between the franchises.
Launch Preview Scheduled for Tomorrow
Epic will unveil an official look at the new season’s assets at 11 am ET, giving fans a final taste before the launch.
