NetEase Games has dropped ten new swimsuit skins for Marvel Rivals as part of Season 8.5, starting on June 19, 2026.
Season 8.5 Launch and Summer Festival
The update launches with a brand‑new Rivals’ Summer Festival ’26, featuring the Hellfire Bay Beach social hub. Skin drops begin on the same day, though no swimsuit appears in the store until later.
Skin Release Timeline
Skins are released in three waves:
- June 19 – Emma Frost, Doctor Strange, Cloak & Dagger, Spider‑Man, Mister Fantastic
- June 26 – Black Widow, Daredevil
- July 3 – Lady Loki, White Fox, Captain America
How to Acquire the Skins
Each skin’s unlock method varies:
- June 19
- Emma Frost, Doctor Strange, Mister Fantastic – available for purchase in the in‑game store.
- Cloak & Dagger – obtainable by buying the Krakoan Reels Event Pass; the skin is paid.
- Spider‑Man – also locked behind the Krakoan Reels Event Pass and sold as a paid skin.
- June 26
- Black Widow and Daredevil – both added to the store and ready for purchase.
- July 3
- Lady Loki, White Fox, Captain America – all sold through the in‑game store.
Players can also earn up to 2,500 units by completing missions during the festival, allowing them to acquire any of the new skins without spending in‑game currency.
Looking Ahead
Executive Producer Danny Koo teased that more swimsuit skins may arrive later in the season, hinting at further additions beyond the current ten. The Loki summer skin reappears as part of the Earth 616 Day Vault event.
