New Schedule
The revamped format begins in Tartu on Monday, giving crews a brief reconnaissance before the ceremonial start on Thursday. Friday’s shakedown moves to the morning, followed by six stages that afternoon, with a tyre‑fitting zone before the overnight service at 20:45.
Saturday launches into a marathon day of nine stages, incorporating a midday service point at 10:00 and concluding the day’s final stage at 20:35 local time. Sunday delivers two runs of the 24.39 km Kaariku stage, bringing the event to a close.
Although the event length remains unchanged, the tighter timetable aims to reduce operational costs for teams and organizers alike, echoing the successful 48‑hour trial in Sardinia last year.

Hyundai’s Thierry Neuville welcomes the return of a more compact rally format, calling the 2024 Sardinia experiment a “good idea.” “We need both longer and shorter rallies in the WRC,” he said, noting the mix of itineraries the new promoter aims to bring.
Neuville, currently sixth in the championship, cited recent victories and strong second places to boost his confidence heading into Estonia. “A win and a second place are encouraging,” he added, emphasizing the importance of precise traction handling on the gravel and the trust required in the car to secure points.
