Valor Mortis will ship on October 13, 2026 – this time without pre‑orders, early access, or paid bonuses.
Valor Mortis Launch Without Pre‑Orders
Developer One More Level confirmed the title’s price and editions during a recent reveal, opting for a clean launch that excludes any pre‑purchase incentives.
All players will receive the same entry price on launch day; no items or extra content will be locked behind a pre‑buy or advanced access.
The publisher believes that the game’s quality will stand on its own merits, encouraging players to try it before deciding to buy.
Trial Details and Gameplay Access
PlayStation Plus will deliver a 90‑minute timed trial starting on launch day, available alongside the full game on Xbox Game Pass.
Progress earned during the trial carries over to the purchased copy, so opening sections need not be replayed when the player later pays.
This trial replaces earlier Steam demos, which had been pulled in September after the community reported performance issues.
Pricing, Editions, and Market Reception
The standard edition is listed at $39.99, while the deluxe edition – which includes a future story DLC – sells for $59.99.
Physical copies carry the same price, feature a 20‑hour story, and highlight intense first‑person souls‑like combat alongside striking visuals.
By foregoing pre‑orders and offering a free trial, One More Level sets a player‑centred benchmark that other developers might adopt as the 2026 release cycle unfolds.
