Although nothing is known about the new story content yet, Obsidian Entertainment will expand its video game in the future.
Obsidian Entertainment's RPG is about to be candy on Nintendo Switch. The video game, adapted to the Kyoto machine by Virtuos, will not be left behind when it comes to additional content. This has been confirmed by Eric DeMilt, product manager, in an interview with Nintendo Everything. "The Nintendo Switch version of The Outer Worlds will receive the DLC that are in development for the rest of the platforms."
About the downloadable content that is on the way is absolutely unknown. The studio, now owned by Xbox Game Studios, announced during The Game Awards 2019 that it was working on new stories set in the world of this RPG. Beyond that, there are no additional details. Meanwhile, the developer continues to work on Grounded, a survival video game released by Microsoft that will be released in early access soon.

The Outer Worlds went on sale in 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The Switch version has been made to be asked, but it will finally come out on June 5. The game will work with a resolution of 1080p on television and 720p on laptop. In both cases, it will run at 30 fps, as Eric DeMilt himself confirmed in the same interview.
