The sequel to the video game was announced during BlizzCon 2019, although it had already been previously leaked in the media.
A few days before BlizzCon 2019 opened the curtain of the ads, the leaks began to spread through the media: that if a Devil art book mentioned the fourth installment, that if an internal document had almost completely uncovered the existence Overwatch 2 … In the end, both forecasts came true and Blizzard Entertainment officially announced and showed both productions for the first time. However, the Overwatch 2 date is still unknown. Not even Blizzard knows when it will be released.
At least that says Jeff Kaplan, head of the game. In an interview with PC Gamer, the creative has stated that he does not know: "I do not know, I have no idea," he says. “Let us do it right, that is what matters most to us. We don't have a date in mind. ” From now on, the team will continue working. It is already known that all who have the first installment can use heroes and maps of the sequel, although the two new modes (Push and PvE mode) can only be enjoyed by those who buy the first installment.
Blizzard was bothered by leaks
For Jeff Kaplan, leaks were not good news. The designer said that he was “demoralizing” and did not hesitate to talk about what happened: “When you try so hard to foretell something for people and it is finally disemboweled in a way that is coherent to us… That is the part that bothers us the most; because people are not given all the information and context they need to understand what we are doing, ”
Overwatch is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. This latest version has just been marketed. In FreeGameTips we analyze it and we conclude that it was a good version, although it is not at the same level as the rest.
