Capcom seems to be actively working on the composition after the success of 'Resident Evil 2 Remake', as insiders claim.
The premiere should therefore take place at the The Game Awards in December, where the current remake is also nominated for the Game of the Year. So what could be better than announcing a sequel directly there?
In addition to the current rumor, it says that the development is actively in full swing and the release is scheduled for the end of 2020. Based on the technology developed for the Resident Evil 2 remake, this is one of the reasons why Part 3 can follow so quickly.
Capcom says so far, however, only that they are still interested in remakes and would like to bring back more games from their own portfolio. However, Resident Evil 3 is also the only game in the series that has not recently been released as a reissue.
Officially confirmed by all this information is not yet.
