Despite the corona pandemic and home office, CD Projekt is sticking to the release of ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ this September. This has now been reaffirmed in the course of a quarterly report.
CEO Adam Kiciński confirms that they switched to home office in mid-March and that work is proceeding almost as usual. Therefore, there is currently no reason why Cyberpunk 2077 should be postponed again. In any case, there are still several months left until then.
“We have been working from home since mid-March, while ensuring the continuity of all our activities. We have been working in this mode for over three weeks. The results so far confirm that we can continue all of our operations without major disruption. Our goals have not changed. First and foremost, we want to release Cyberpunk 2077 in September. We feel motivated and have the necessary tools to achieve this goal.
We also believe that our longstanding strategy of avoiding debt and accumulating cash reserves has prepared us well to deal with any difficulties that we may face in these difficult times. ”
Although CD Projekt has not published a major project for years, you can still benefit from profits from The Witcher 3. GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is just as successful. The full financial report is available at this link.
