Despite Corona, Square Enix continues to release Final Fantasy VII Remake on April 10th. However, there may be delivery bottlenecks with the disc version.
A statement explains:
“Due to the extraordinary circumstances the world is facing with the COVID 19 pandemic, we would like to inform you how this will affect the upcoming release of Final Fantasy VII Remake. Our priority is the well-being and safety of our fans and customers, taking into account the recommendations of the regional government and the World Health Organization.
“The global release of Final Fantasy VII Remake on April 10th will continue. However, given the unpredictable changes in the sales and retail landscape that vary from country to country, it is increasingly likely that some of you will not receive your copy on the release date.
“We monitor the situation daily and work with our partners, retailers and Square Enix teams across Europe and America to ensure that as many of you as possible can play the game on April 10th. "
If necessary, you have to switch to the digital version, unless you can not wait.
