Toadman Interactive and Antimatter Games present a new trailer for the return of the I.G.I. and confirm platforms for its premiere in 2021.
Toadman Interactive announced last March of this year that it recovered the mythical saga of action first person shooter and stealth I.G.I., pointing to a launch in 2021 for PC; Now, the company confirms the developer Antimatter Games as responsible for its main development, in addition to confirming new launch platforms such as PS4 and Xbox One, along with the already announced version of compatible through Steam, all available at some time 2021. And to celebrate the news, those responsible have shared a new trailer, as well as new images.
First person shooter and stealth action
This new videogame from the I.G.I. will arrive on the market in the form of a prequel to the first two deliveries of the early 2000s and puts us in the shoes of a secret agent of MI6 with code name Regent with whom we must try to stop a nuclear threat of the Soviet Union on the West , all through the Institute of Geotactical Intelligence (IGI) and its possibilities at the level of weapons and gadgets that we will use in the missions.
"The Toadman and Antimatter teams have great memories of playing the original games in the past," says Robin Flodin, CEO of Toadman Interactive. "We are very happy to take the franchise to a new level, and it is a perfect challenge for the talented boys of Antimatter Games, a key study for the Toadman group," concludes the manager.
So much so, that this new installment Origins has a key developer of the original games, whose main objective is to maintain the essence of the original work taking advantage of the current technology for the development of video games.
I.G.I. Origins will arrive on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime in 2021, on a date yet to be specified.
